GREENVILLE – Trans Alliance, LLC and Trans Alliance Group, LLC are new companies in Greenville. These companies will start operations officially Jan. 1, 2013. Trans Alliance, a 25-truck, bulk and van freight transportation company, will serve the customers of the current Garber Ag Freight, Inc. Trans Alliance Group, a freight brokerage and warehouse provider, will serve the customers of the current Garber Logistics and Warehousing (GLW Group, LLC).
Trans Alliance and Trans Alliance Group are owned by Mercer County resident Steve Kessler. Kessler has been employed by Garber Ag Freight since June of 2008 and VP of Operations since April 2009. Current Principal and President of Garber Ag Freight, Ben Garber, will remain with the new companies and serve in the role of consultant and development manager. No other personnel changes are anticipated at this time.Trans Alliance and Trans Alliance Group will be located at 4667 US Route 127, Greenville, and their business number is 548-8400.
